About Chef

Chef Marco Saporiti is an experienced Italian chef, currently residing in Switzerland, with extensive experience in kitchen management and quality control.

Most recently, he worked as Head Chef at Restaurant "Amalfi" in Zurich (July 2023 - February 2025) , where he managed the kitchen, prepared daily and festive menus, controlled HACCP, and conducted food cost calculations. Previously, he served as Sous Chef at Restaurant "Bindella" in Zurich (September 2019 - June 2023) , with responsibilities including kitchen preparation, à la carte service, and HACCP control.

He also worked as a Head Chef in restaurants in Denmark, Cape Verde, and Italy, and as a Cook in Switzerland.

Chef Marco Saporiti completed a Bachelor's degree in Gastronomy Studies at the University of Milan (2007-2010), specializing in chemistry, microbiology, and gastronomic technology. He also holds a cook's diploma from the Hotel School "E. MAGGIA" in Italy (1995-2000). He is fluent in Italian, English, and German
