About Chef

Chef Marcin Piotrowski is a well known on the Warsaw culinary scene. Participant of the 1st edition of Top Chef Poland. He specializes, among others, in private dining and spectacular culinary events. For many years he served as a personal chef of the Australian ambassador in Warsaw, preparing events for diplomats and famous politicians.

Chef Piotrowski is a winner of numerous prizes at world competitions, eg bronze medalist at Culinary World Cup 2006 in Luxemburg or World Champion in BBQ 2006. You may also know him from the media - he hosts television and radio programs.

Kucharz Marcin, który przygotował nasze urodzinowe przyjęcie, zasłużył na prawdziwe owacje! Makaron z truflą oraz carbonara smakowały dosłownie jak z wykwintnej domowej kuchni włoskiej. Wszystko przygotowane było ze świeżych, włoskich produktów - od makaronu przez, truflę, guanciale, po ser pecorino. Każdy kęs był prawdziwą ucztą. Goście byli oczarowani kunsztem kulinarnym, a delikatny aromat świeżych trufli wypełnił cały dom. Absolutnie mistrzowskie wykonanie, które długo będziemy wspominać! Dziękujemy!

Thank you for a wonderfully organized birthday party. All the Asian cuisine dishes were very tasty, professionally served and created curiosity among the guests. Chef Marcin was eager to talk about the details of the proposed menu. The party was also graced with a lot of knowledge and experience from Mr. Marcin's work on ships, among other things, which he conveyed in an interesting, but at the same time humble, non-imposing way. Mr. Marcin has prepared a delicious dinner for me, consisting of many different dishes. The dishes were delicious. The ingredients were of very good quality and despite the many dishes each had a different Asian flavor. The dish was interesting and nicely presented. The fish and seafood were perfectly prepared, soft, juicy and very well balanced in taste. Everything has been prepared in front of our eyes and Mr. Marcin talked about recipes, cooking, his experiences and travels with great passion.

A very interesting person with a lot of experience and a nice approach to children :) He can combine work with casual conversation, which makes the party have a nice atmosphere and the right pace. Next time I will definitely rely on Mr. Marcin in composing the menu.

I think the best tartare I have ever eaten! This is how private dinners are supposed to look like - menu 5/5, Chef was there, but he did not impose himself - rather supplemented the Guests ;-)

Chef tells an interesting story and presents his dishes, willingly interacts with guests. It is difficult to choose which dish I liked the most - they were all insane and the taste of tartare and soup will stay in my memory for a long time :)

The roe deer tartare on the burned chalet knocked me to my knees :)))) The chef easily establishes contact with the guests and will certainly be able to adjust the menu so that everyone can find a taste for themselves

Marcin is able to find the perfect balance between his interaction with guests and giving the field to the hosts and their conversation. Our dinner had a solemn character and we wanted time for toasts and talks with guests. Marcin sensed it perfectly and found himself. At the same time, he found the perfect opportunities to present himself, his skills and dishes. Venison tartare has broken the bank. Great meat, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. These gilded leaves are a miracle! Very good soup, tender and creamy sirloin in taste (although I prefer grilled or pan, I know that in these conditions and the number of guests it would be impossible to do). And dessert at the end - wonderful comfort food!

Everyone liked the dumplings very much. The octopus salad was my whim - maybe unusual for Christmas, but very tasty, with a subtle flavor. Greek style fish disappeared from the dish in no time :)

Delicious taste, cheesecake eaten as the first cake. What bothered was that the dough was very wet. It stood in the water in the tin, it was still wet after taking it out. It wasn't fluffy, although it was light

Hot rolls and bomb prawn. sushi good but no surprises, like hot rolls. Appetizer and dessert bomb. The fish was cold :( so unfortunately it's hard for me to define its taste ... :( but a point for using seasonal tomatoes and filoet potatoes!

Delicious food always defends itself, but the Chef is very open and talkative, which creates a very nice atmosphere. A very nice, talented chef. A crazy fish. Great, although it seems that he is less dynamic than boss Paweł, but maybe it results from the fact that boss Paweł was a bit dominant :) It did not bother me at all, I would recommend him with a pure heart!

Communicative, friendly, dishes served not with splendor, but with sensitivity. Overall tasty. Despite less experience than the previous cook, I think the taste of the dishes was ok, the appearance could be more polished. I have no objections, but I have no comparison. Maybe after the next dinners I will be able to say more, to what extent depends on the chefs.

You could see how experienced this person is and how he can also talk about what he can. From that day on, I started eating sushi again - I think it is the best testimony to the prepared dishes. Hot sushi was a very interesting culinary adventure for me. The liver was excellent and had interesting surprising additions in the form of pumpernickel and purple potato chips. I really liked the silence while eating, which showed how much everyone is focused on taste and consumption :) The ability to observe the work and ask questions to the chefs is a great added value at dinner.

Top chef, presentation and flavors at the culinary show level. Some flavors too much and too much, but tasty and I cleaned the plates. Too large portions :-) Bravo for local flavors and vegetables from the garden. I would go even further. Goats and chickens, poultry, gifts of the forest. Polish Noma is not Amaro but :-) I especially liked the meringue show, in nitrogen - eating is fun!
