He says about himself that he is a real lucky man because he can do what he really loves in life, which is to cook. He is convinced that this is what drives him. He is certainly defined by his professionalism, ambition and hunger for new challenges.
He took his first culinary steps in Poznan, it was there that he began his adventure with cooking.
The city of the famous goats is also the flavors he remembers from his childhood. Today he often refers to
them, combining cuisine from different regions of the world, with the element of culinary memories, brought from the
family home
He gained experience and skills in one of the local Italian restaurants, and after some time he joined a French hotel chain for a longer period, where he gradually climbed the steps of his career. In 2011 he joined the team of Sofitel Warsaw Victoria, where, as Chef, he successfully created successive unveilings of the menu of La Brasserie Moderne restaurant. This can be evidenced by awards from Noble Bank and Noble Concierge, accolades from Gault & Millau Poland and the title of Central Region Chef of the Year, a competition organized by Poland 100 Best Restaurants.
In 2022, he gave himself a new challenge - to build a restaurant from scratch in the first hotel in Poland of the Autograph Collection brand, part of the Marriott International chain. KUK, for that is the name of the restaurant signed with Maciej's name, is a true culinary feast. With plenty of unusual references to the location, the history of the place, but not only. Culinary explorers are sure to feel right at home here.

Zamawiałam bufet/finger food - "Dookoła świata" - wszystko było bardzo smaczne, bardzo fajne połączenia smaków, ładnie podane. Duży wybór i różnorodność ; z jednej strony lekkie, z drugiej strony - naprawdę było tego wystarczająco, żebyśmy się najedli jak po kilkudaniowym obiedzie. Bardzo polecam, super opcja na letnią kolację ze znajomymi . To moje kolejne spotkanie kulinarne z Chefem Maciejem i mam nadzieję, że nie ostatnie

We are delighted with yesterday evening. Our guests too. Chef Maciej did a great job. The menu delighted everyone, and the age profile of the guests was from 25+ to 60+. It is not an easy task for both the young and the elderly to suit everything. The service by Mr. Maciej was at the highest level. We all said that it "blew" modernity in every respect - service, menu and personality of Mr. Maciej, who spoke beautifully and professionally about the dishes. Our friends have already contacted your company and will certainly use the services of Mr. Maciej Majewski in the future. There was a lot of food, a lot was left, but because everything is vacuum-wrapped, it can be reused, e.g. within a few days or frozen. Everything is also prepared in this respect. Thank you.

A communion party is certainly not a simple format. Especially if it is to be organized in the garden, and here it pours, blows and ... the electricity goes out. Meanwhile, thanks to Mr. Maciej, the event turned out to be absolutely fantastic. The masterful dishes are beautifully presented, the chef's extraordinary personal culture and his calmness made us all delighted. And finally, a shiny kitchen. Certainly it was not our last meeting with Mr. Maciej.

Delightful, quick, professional, brilliantly adjusts dishes to the palate, takes care of details, smiling. The idea of Ulala Chef will help any hostess or any host. From support in choosing the menu, professional on-site service to cleaning the kitchen to shiny colors after dinner. Guests will certainly feel full and pampered;)
