About Chef

Sebastian began his culinary adventure as a teenager at the Gastronomy School in Warsaw. During his studies, he had the opportunity to complete several months of internships in renowned places such as the Marriott hotel, the Sheraton hotel, and the Cafe Zamek restaurant.

By training under the supervision of professional cooks and chefs in high-class international kitchens, he gained practical knowledge, which he used in subsequent places.

He developed his further professional career, among others, at the Hyatt Regency Warsaw hotel, as a sous chef. Over the next years, he gained extensive experience, not only culinary but also management, working as a head chef at Zen Jazz Bistro. Then, for 5 years, Sebastian cooperated with The Westin Warsaw hotel, where he had the opportunity to develop new menu cards and create many outstanding dishes, which are still very popular among guests today.

Currently, Sebastian holds the position of the chef and A 'la carte chef at the Airport Hotel Okęcie.

Sebastian Kornacki is a finalist of numerous culinary competitions, incl. "Contest of Young Talents of Culinary Arts l'Art de la cuisine Martell 2010, 2011", laureate of the "Primerba Cup 2012", runner-up in the most important and prestigious Polish gastronomy, competition "Polish Culinary Cup 2013", captain of the Polish representation in the competition culinary "Baltic Culinary Star Cup 2013" in St. Petersburg, winner of the culinary competition "Polish beef, beef with a future" 2014.

He is willing to share the acquired knowledge and experience with other enthusiasts of culinary art, conducting workshops, seminars and tastings of certified food, among others, polish beef and pork and organic food not only in Poland. He represented Polish cuisine in many places around the world, including: Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, Beijing, Saint Petersburg, Abu Dhabi. He also conducted the Festival of Polish Cuisine in Egypt - El Guna - at the renowned Sheraton Miramar hotel.

He is passionate about Asian cuisine, especially Japanese and Thai cuisine. On a daily basis, Sebastian is a happy father of three young children and spends his free time actively.
