About Chef

Henrik is a professional Chef, Chef Trainer and Teacher. During his career he has been self-employed most of the time. He has been responsible for various clients all over the world, sometimes short or long term.

After completing his training as a chef at Chalet Corniche Berlin in Germany, Henrik worked as a Chef at Tyax Mountain Lake Resort BC in Canada; as Chef Entremetier at Restaurant Borchard Berlin and as Catering Chef at Stars Dinner Express. In 1998 Henrik worked as Chef Gardemanger at Restaurant Aderman (1*Michelin) in Berlin and later as Chef Tournat at Crystal Cruises (5 star plus cruise ship).

From 2001 to 2006 he was CEO and founder of Leih den Koch GmbH & Co KG Berlin. He founded a company that hires out chefs worldwide. His clients included Formula 1, F1 Williams Nico Rosberg racing team, Käfer Partyservice, Kofler& Companie, Lenotre Paris, Electrolux, Arena One Catering, Kempinski Germany, Lehrieder Catering, as well as many large and small hotels and event caterers and the FIFA World Cup in Germany.

Between 2010 and 2015 Henrik worked at conceptzwei Event Agency (Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France) and during this time was Head Chef for events all over Europe for clients such as Formula 1, Alfa Romeo, Jeep, DVAG and many more. Henrik also worked as a food consultant at Accor Hotellerie Germany Koblenz, Chefs Culinar Weetze and Hotel "HoheWacht" 4*Hotel Resort & Spa Hohewacht. From 2016 to 2021 Chef Henrik worked as a Head Chef / Caterer for Bavaria Fiction Nykoping in Sweden.

He has also gained experience as a private chef and has worked for various personalities from business and politics.  In addition to his passion for cooking, Henrik is passionate about vintage Volvo cars, traveling, social media and sports.
