About Chef

Gabriel is a chef from South Africa, with 20 years cooking experience. He works to preserve our natural resources and reduce his food carbon footprint. He has a keen eye for detail. He is driven, passionate, result orientated and energetic.

Classically French-trained, gaining his Michelin Star experience in the UK. His food flavors are unpretentious. He provides consistent and creative top-quality dishes. 

He draws his inspiration from Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Japan. His food repertoire also ranges from classic to fusion food from countries like Spain, Italy, France, Germany, Greece and Poland. He also specializes in unique BBQ concepts.

He gained experience working for Raymond Blanc and in top Leading Hotels of the World and Small Luxury Hotels of the World. 

For him cooking is a passionate lifestyle, where he can be creative and use ingredients to showcase their full potential, creating food that is nutritious and delicious. His role model in the kitchen is: René Redzepi, Thomas Keller, Heston Blumenthal and Matthew Kenney.

His secret in the kitchen is treat ingredients with respect. Create the best food experience for guests.

Gabriel was just amazing. Food prepared at the highest level, friendly atmosphere and a lot of knowledge. I got what I expected and more. Additionally, Gabriel speaks great English so there was no problem with communication. I recommend to everyone.
