About Chef

Mateusz comes from Gdynia, but currently lives in Lidzbark (warmińsko-mazurskie voivodeship). In the kitchen, he willingly reaches for the Polish culinary tradition served in a unique way. In its dishes, it primarily uses regional products of the highest quality.

He worked at the "Pod Jabłonką" restaurant and the 4-star Pałac Mortęgi Hotel. He has also completed internships in the 4-star Zamek Gniew Hotel, in the “Biały Królik” Restaurant in Gdynia and in a hotel in Greece, where he gained a lot of experience.

He gained culinary skills and inspiration by participating in many trainings, including the Makro Inspiration Academy, the Warsaw Academy of Pastry Arts and the Academy of Confectionery Art. He has also been interested in home brewing for two years.

Chef has participated in many different culinary competitions, but his greatest achievements include:

- 3rd place in the national culinary competition "POULTRY ON THE POLISH STOLE" in 2019,

- 2nd place in the regional stage and as a finalist of the nationwide culinary competition "BATTLE FOR POULTRY FLAVORS" 2021.
