As a chef, Leila likes to focus on cooking technique and bringing out the maximum flavor of the ingredients. She believes it is important to know the fundamental skills, flavors and history of a dish/cuisine before deconstructing and reinventing it. Playing with food is fun, it pushes us to constantly improve our skill set and broaden our understanding of flavor and texture. She enjoys the creativity cooking and baking allows.
