Born and raised in Warsaw. He cooks for as long as he can remember, he took his first culinary steps in his grandmother's kitchen. He moved to Florida, USA, where he set up his own sandwich deli, where all his ingredients were homemade, smoked and baked by Jakub. He then moved on to England to become Head Chef in a prestigious pub in West Sussex. Next stop was London, where he helped set up Jamies Italian - Jamie Oliver's Italian restaurant in Covent Garden. He received his formal culinary education in England and then moved on to Spain, where he was the head of 2 restaurants. In 2013 he came back to Poland and started his own project "Butter and Sage". He loves working with poultry giblets and slow-food cooking.

I would recommend anyone to prepare a dinner or party by Mr. Jakub. First of all, all the dishes were very tasty, beautifully presented and perfectly composed in one menu, and secondly, as the hostess, I didn't have to worry about anything, neither about shopping before dinner, nor about cooking dinner or cleaning up after dinner. I will recommend Ulala Chef to any hostess.

Kuba is a cool, sociable person who certainly has a lot of interesting culinary experiences that he can talk about. Personally, I am not convinced by his self-confidence, which is not due to the quality of his reports, will last. The cuisine it presents is correct, tasty, good, but it is not a sophisticated, unique cuisine. Some of his dishes were not completely cooked: eggs benedict and duck (I found the meat quite tough and stringy, and I found this out recently when I tried a good duck breast - just prepared on the grill and in the oven). I could recommend Cuba for cool women's parties, where sociability prevails over the quality of the dishes.

The poche egg on asparagus was the best of its kind, I ate a lot, but the taste was amazing. Thai basil made the dish unique. The gluten free brownie was really great, both in texture and flavor. Chef coped with the difficult task of preparing a dessert for both gluten-free and allergy sufferers. Kuba is great at entertaining guests by talking both about the dishes served and his personal experiences. If I were to decide to use Chef's services, I would like him to show such a "proactive" and sociable approach.
